Event tip: Book Presentation “Exile in New Zealand”
The National Fund of the Republic of Austria for Victims of National Socialism cordially invites you to attend the presentation of Volume 7 “Exile in New Zealand” from the book series “Lives Remembered. Life Stories of Victims of National Socialism”.
Speakers include descendants of Nazi victims from Austria who emigrated to New Zealand and will speak about their experiences of persecution, flight and exile, and the cultural and social anthropologist Margit Wolfsberger, former President of the Austrian South Pacific Society, who has studied Austrian migration to Oceania in the course of several research visits and interviewed numerous Jewish refugees from Austria about their exile.
