Ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Austria

The Upper Austrian Provincial Concentration Camp Association held a ceremonial event on 7-8 May 2005 to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Austria. On the evening before the ceremony, there was a meeting for resistance fighters. The program consisted of readings of antifascist literature by various artists. On Sunday 8 may, they took part in the ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the former concentration camp Mauthausen.

Der KZ-Landesverband OÖ plant vom 7.-8. Mai 2005 eine würdige Festveranstaltung anlässlich '60 Jahre Befreiung Österreichs' durchzuführen. Am Vorabend zu der Befreiungsfeier wird es ein Treffen der WiderstandskämpferInnen geben. Das Programm besteht unter anderem aus dem Vortragen von antifaschistischer Literatur durch verschiedene KünstlerInnen. Am Sonntag, den 8. Mai, soll eine gemeinsame Teilnahme an der 60. Befreiungsfeier des ehemaligen Konzentrationslagers Mauthausen stattfinden.
