Over a period of three days, international representatives of trans-disciplinary Austrian exile research spoke on recent research and questions. Questions of scientific theoretical, educational and practical conveyance of exile research to a wider public and on the social value of this new discipline, which is not yet institutionally anchored at the university, were at the center of a critical and constructive self assessment. The contributors came from the fields of contemporary history, literature, philosophy, psychology, political science, sociology, medicine, architecture, art, music and others.

An drei Tagen werden internationale VertreterInnen der transdisziplinären österreichischen Exilforschung zu aktuellen Forschungen und Fragestellungen referieren. Fragen der wissenschaftstheoretischen und wissenschaftsdidaktischen sowie der praktischen Vermittlung der Exilforschung an eine breite Öffentlichkeit und des gesamtgesellschaftlichen Nutzens dieser jungen, an der Universität noch nicht institutionell verankerten Disziplin stehen dabei im Zentrum einer kritischen und konstruktiven Selbstreflexion. Die Beiträge kommen aus den Bereichen der Zeitgeschichte, Literatur, Philosophie, Psychologie, Politikwissenschaft, Soziologie, Medizin, Architektur, Kunst, Musik u.a.
