Description
In spring 2000 the Ebensee Memorial will be extended by the opening of a museum of contemporary history. It contains the following areas: permanent temporary history exhibition: Austria with a focus on the Salzkammergut; part of the exhibition: Ebensee concentration camp, library of contemporary history, contemporary history archive (documents and photos), publications with a focus of the victims/survivors of the concentration camp.

Im Frühjahr 2000 wird die Gedenkstätte Ebensee durch die Eröffnung eines Zeitgeschichtemuseums erweitert. Folgende Bereiche werden umfasst: Zeitgeschichtliche Dauerausstellung: Österreich mit Schwerpunkt Salzkammergut; Teil der Ausstellung: Konzentrationslager Ebensee, Zeitgeschichtliche Bibliothek, Zeitgeschichtliches Archiv (Dokumente und Fotos), Publikationen mit Schwerpunkt KZ-Opfer/Überlebende der Konzentrationslager.
