Description

5 February 2000 was the fifth anniversary of the bombing of Oberwart. To mark this occasion the free stage of the Open House Oberwart obtained the performance rights to a play by Jelinek. After consulting the event organizers, it was confirmed that the ban on its performance did not extend to the OHO. The play was performed in Oberwart on 11 May. This play is to serve as a sort of epitaph for the four Roma who were murdered and above all an admonition to the choir of grief journalists and appeasers, against life bumbling on – no one sees the writing on the wall.
