Commemoration ceremony '60th anniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen' on 8 May 2005

The Federation of Social Democratic Freedom Fighters and Victims of Fascism, the Board of Trustees of the Austrian People’s Party - Comradeship of Political Persecutees and the Federal Alliance of Austrian Resistance Fighters traveled to Mauthausen to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the former concentration camp Mauthausen. In 2005 an particularly large-scale international commemoration ceremony took place. The working community wanted to send survivors from all Federal Provinces to these ceremonies.

Der Bund Sozialdemokratischer Freiheitskämpfer und Opfer des Faschismus, das Kuratorium der ÖVP-Kameradschaft der politisch Verfolgten und der Bundesverband Österreichischer Widerstandskämpfer und Opfer des Faschismus (KZ-Verband) werden anlässlich des 60. Jahrestages der Befreiung des ehemaligen KZ-Mauthausen nach Mauthausen fahren. Dieses Jahr findet eine besonders große internationale Gedenkfeier statt. Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft möchte aus allen Bundesländern zu diesen Feierlichkeiten Betroffene entsenden.
