Description
The Maimonides Center requested funding for its conciliar liaison service. The social psychiatric conciliar liaison service involves guaranteeing the psycho-social care of the residents and patients is better than previously. This means that the social, mental psychiatric and nursing problems of the residents and their symptoms can be treated medically, psychiatrically and through nursing. The conciliar liaison team is comprised of specialist neurologists, carers and trained social workers.

Das Maimonides-Zentrum hat ein Ansuchen zur Finanzierung und Umsetzung des CL-Dienstes gestellt. Bei diesem sozialpsychiatrischen CONSILIAR-LIAISON Dienst geht es darum, die psychosoziale Betreuung der HeimbewohnerInnen und PflegepatientInnen besser als bisher zu garantieren. Damit ist gemeint, dass die sozialen, psychischen, psychiatrischen und pflegerischen Probleme der HeimbewohnerInnen und deren Folgeerscheinungen sowohl in medizinischer als auch in psychiatrischer und pflegerischer Hinsicht behandelt werden können. Das CL-Team setzt sich aus NervenfachärztInnen, Pflegepersonal und Diplom-SozialarbeiterInnen zusammen.
