Project

Description

The association has 150 members, the majority of whom were born in the former Soviet Union. Many members were imprisoned in ghettos or camps and had to flee the former Soviet Union with their families. The association holds regular meetings in a club room provided by the Jewish Community. Furthermore, the association receives a small annual sum from the Jewish Community to support its cultural, social and traditional tasks. Due to the difficult financial circumstances of the Jewish Community Vienna, this year this amount was not sufficient to hold all of the usual events.
