On 28 October 2001, the Concentration Camp Association Upper Austria unveiled two memorial plaques in the Mauthausen concentration camp memorial honoring 42 murdered victims. They were murdered on 28 April 1945 on the direct command of the head of regional administration Eigruber.

Am 28.10. 2001 hat der KZ-Verband Oberösterreich in der KZ-Gedenkstätte Mauthausen zwei Gedenktafeln zu Ehren von 42 ermordeten Opfern enthüllt. Die Ehrung galt den betroffenen Personen, die noch am 28. April 1945 auf direkten Befehl des damaligen Gauleiters Eigruber ermordet wurden.
