The Austrian Exile Library planned an exhibition on Viennese exile cabaret in New York 1938–1950 for 2002. A troop of actors and musicians from the Vienna cabaret scene including Leon Askin, Elisabeth Neumann, Armin Berg, Karl Farkas, Fritz Spielmann, Jimmy and Trude Berg and many others forced into exile from Austria performed in the Viennese coffee houses of the day in New York. The exhibition remembered the Jewish political cabaret of the Viennese artists in exile.

Die Österreichische Exilbibliothek plant für Juni 2002 eine Ausstellung zum Wiener Exilkabarett in New York 1938-1950. Eine Truppe SchauspielerInnen und MusikerInnen aus der Wiener Kleinkunstszene, unter Ihnen Leon Askin, Elisabeth Neumann, Armin Berg, Karl Farkas, Fritz Spielmann, Jimmy und Trude Berg und viele andere aus Österreich vertriebene KünstlerInnen, traten in den damaligen Wiener Cafehäusern in New York auf. Die Ausstellung will an das jüdisch-politische Kabarett der Wiener ExilkünstlerInnen erinnern.
