Description

The Jewish Community in Bosnia Herzegovina and the “Jewish Humanitarian Society” in Sarajevo run a health care center with the support of the Claims Conference in order to give 250 old and frail Holocaust survivors, the so-called “double victims”, dignity in their last years. Medical and psychotherapeutic care is offered both in the outpatients department of the health care center and in the form of home visits. The National Fund was requested to support the center with the purchase of mobile ECG machines and a mobile ultrasound for home visits.
