Description
The Center for Study and Research of Jewish History, Culture and Civilization in Southeast Europe was founded in 1997 and is an institution for academic studies. In addition to teaching Hebrew and educating teachers on the subject of the Holocaust, since the year 2000 the institute has been conducting research into the exact location of Jewish gravestones and religious objects and on the recording and restoration of Jewish memorials. During the course of this intensive research and archival work, books were published.

Das Zentrum für Studium und Forschung der Geschichte, Kultur und Zivilisation der Juden im Südosten Europas wurde 1997 gegründet und ist eine Institution für wissenschaftliches Studium. Neben dem Unterricht der hebräischen Sprache und der Ausbildung der Lehrer im Themenbereich 'Holocaust' forscht das Institut sei dem Jahr 2000 sowohl über die exakte Situation der jüdischen Grabsteine und Kultgegenstände, als auch über die Erfassung der jüdischen Denkmäler und ihrer Restaurierung. Im Zuge dieser intensiven Forschungs- und Archivarbeit werden Publikationen veröffentlicht.
