The present-day Roma in Burgenland are the surviving descendents of the minority which was always persecuted and then murdered during the Nazi era. The traveling theater dealt with the prejudices which still exist today – “second class” people – when living together with the people of Burgenland and confronted the non-theater-going public with this subject in guesthouses. Its predecessor the play “ A Burgenland Wedding” was already performed in typical Burgenland guesthouses in front of up to 1000 guests. The same team presented this production.

Die heutigen Roma im Burgenland sind die überlebenden Nachfahren der schon immer verfolgten und in der Nazizeit ermordeten Minderheit. Das Wandertheater setzt sich mit den noch stets bestehenden Vorurteilen - Menschen 'Zweiter Klasse' - im Zusammenleben der burgenländischen Bevölkerung auseinander und konfrontiert das theaterungeübte Publikum in Wirtshäusern mit diesem Thema. Als Vorreiter wurde bereits das Theaterstück 'Eine burgenländische Hochzeit' in typisch burgenländischen Gasthäusern gespielt und dabei bis zu 1000 Besucher gezählt. Das gleiche Team wird auch diesmal die Inszenierung präsentieren.
