The American Society for Jewish Holocaust survivors from Austria has been providing voluntary help and assistance in various matters for many years. The Association for Victims of National Socialism from Austria has been involved since 1966. The work became more intensive in 1998, a larger volume of work was expected with the foundation of the General Settlement Fund.

Der in Amerika existierende Verein der Holocaustüberlebenden Juden aus Österreich leistet seit vielen Jahren unentgeltlich Hilfestellung und Unterstützung in verschiedenen Angelegenheiten. Seit 1966 setzt sich der Verein für Opfer des Nationalsozialismus aus Österreich ein. Ab 1998 wurde die Tätigkeit intensiviert; mit der Gründung des GSF wird mit einem erhöhten Arbeitsaufwand gerechnet.
