Description
The starting point for interactively coming to terms with the history of the Jewish emigrants from Europe was a sculpture in the form of a whale, an installation in the courtyard of the 'Centro Cultural Recoleta', Buenos Aires, Argentina. The skeleton of the sculpture, 14m long, 3m high and 1.6m wide is shaped from an iron rod, the exterior of the whale is made of rolled up hoods of engines. A recorder was placed in the interior of the whale and each visitor can generate 3 minutes. The collected data can also be called up if necessary. This installation is monument of remembrance for Argentina.

Als Ausgangspunkt für die interaktive Auseinandersetzung mit der Geschichte der jüdischen Emigranten aus Europa soll eine Skulptur in Form eines Wales, eine Installation im Innenhof des 'Centro Cultural Recoleta', Buenos Aires, Argentinien dienen. Das Skelett der Skulptur mit 14m Länge, 3m Höhe und 1.60m Breite wird aus einem Rundeisen geformt, die Außenhaut des Wals bilden gewalzte Motorhauben. Im Inneren des Wals wird ein Aufnahmegerät platziert, und jeder Besucher kann drei Minuten generieren. Die gesammelten Daten können bei Bedarf abgerufen werden. Diese Installation ist ein Zeit- und Erinnerungsmonument für Argentinien.
