'A Letter To The Stars - Überleben im Versteck'. Dokumentarfilm von Helene Maimann

 

The film was created in cooperation with the project "A Letter to the Stars – part II". Part II of the project, which commenced in January 2004, documented the research of around 5,000 schoolchildren throughout Austria on just as many formerly persecuted people who survived the National Socialist regime in exile, in the camps, as slave laborers or underground. The film was based on the results of the project and portrayed four to six so called U-Boots.

Der Film wird in Kooperation mit dem Projekt 'A Letter To The Stars - Teil II' entstehen. Das Projekt Teil II, das Ende Jänner 2004 gestartet wurde, dokumentiert die österreichweite Recherche von etwa 5000 SchülerInnen über ebenso viele ehemals Verfolgte, die das NS-Regime im Exil, im Lager, als Zwangsarbeiter oder im Untergrund überlebt haben. Der Film wird sich auf die Ergebnisse dieses Projekts stützen und vier bis sechs von so genannten U-Booten porträtieren.
