In this work, the young historian Johannes Hofinger deals with Max Reinhard and Castle Leopoldskron, a famous case of aryanization in the Province of Salzburg. The author’s research stretched from the “Leopoldskron performance” by Max Reinhard and its cultural-political instrumentalization under National Socialism to the complex restitution proceedings after 1945.

In seiner Arbeit beschäftigt sich der junge Historiker Johannes Hofinger mit Max Reinhard und dem Schloss Leopoldskron, einem prominenten Arisierungsfall im Bundesland Salzburg. Der Autor spannt den Bogen seiner Forschung von der 'Inszenierung Leopoldskron' durch Max Reinhard über die kulturpolitische Instrumentalisierung im Nationalsozialismus bis zum komplexen Rückstellungsverfahren nach 1945.
