Ausstellung und Katalog - 'Verborgene Bilder' am ehemaligen Aspangbahnhof

 

Immediately prior to the demolition and redevelopment of the former Aspang Station in Vienna, 3rd District, a picture exhibition with workshops remembered the National Socialist history of this place. The pictures, painted by Wolf Werdigier, evolved from conversations and interviews with Austrian surviving eyewitnesses, personal experiences and metaphors.

Unmittelbar vor Abriss und Neubebauung des Geländes des ehemaligen Aspangbahnhofs in Wien, 3. Bezirk, Platz der Deportation, soll eine Bilderausstellung mit Workshops an die NS-Geschichte dieses Ortes erinnern. Die Bilder, gemalt von Wolf Werdigier, sind aus Gesprächen und Interviews mit österreichischen Zeitzeugen, persönlichen Erlebnissen und etaphern entstanden. Das Ausstellungskonzept führt den Besucher vom Parkplatz durch den Korridor in die große Halle zu großformatigen Bildern und Toninstallationen.
