The residents of the Maimonides Center (Jewish retirement home) were scattered throughout the world during the Nazi era and only returned to Vienna later, some when they were very old. Their authentic reports and autobiographies are a valuable contemporary document which was published in the year of the 60th anniversary of the end of the war.
