Alois Kaufmann, a survivor of the notorious psychiatric children’s institution “Am Spiegelgrund” in Vienna has observed the development of the world and of life with particular sensitivity. These events affected Alois Kaufmann for his whole life. The publishers released this edition of poetry written over a period of decades from the victim’s perspective. They are poems by a grown man, a former “victim of the National Socialist cleansing policies”.

Alois Kaufmann, ein Überlebender der berüchtigten psychiatrischen Kinderanstalt 'Am Spiegelgrund' in Wien, hat die Entwicklung der Welt und des Lebens mit besonderer Sensibilität beobachtet. Alois Kaufmann wurde durch diese Erlebnisse für sein gesamtes Leben geprägt. Der Verlag bringt die Edition der über Jahrzehnte hinweg entstandenen Gedichte aus der Sicht eines Betroffenen. Es sind die Gedichte eines erwachsenen Mannes, eines ehemaligen 'Opfers der Nazi-Säuberungspolitik'.
