The path of remembrance was planned to lead through many areas of the Leopoldstadt and within two years, three further stages were to be constructed. Stones of remembrance were to be erected for Holocaust victims whose relatives requested them and for victims with no surviving relatives. Directions were to provide the necessary background information to visitors.

Der 'Weg der Erinnerung' ist durch mehrere Viertel der Leopoldstadt geplant und soll innerhalb von zwei Jahren in drei Etappen errichtet werden. Sowohl für Holocaustopfer, deren Angehörige sich das wünschen, als auch für Menschen, von denen keine Angehörigen überlebt haben, sollen 'Steine der Erinnerung' gesetzt werden. Eine Wegbeschreibung wird den BesucherInnen die nötigen Hintergrundinformationen liefern.
