Description
Continuation of the project: The project is now available on the internet in several languages; English (www.centropa.org), Hungarian (www.centropa.hu) und since 1 February 2007 in German (www.centropa.org/at). As the interview work is slowly coming to a close, Centropa was now focusing on turning this archive of stories and pictures into a DVD and internet based library of short films in which people can become engrossed in the Jewish experience of the pre- and post-war years in Central and Eastern Europe.

Fortsetzung des Projektes: Das Projekt ist nun in mehreren Sprachen im Internet vorhanden; Englisch (www.centropa.org), Ungarisch (www.centropa.hu) und ab 1.Februar 2007 auch auf Deutsch (www.centropa.org/at). Da die Interviewtätigkeiten langsam zu Ende geht, richtet Centropa das Hauptaugenmerk auf die Verwandlung dieses Archivs von Geschichten und Bildern in eine auf DVD und Internet basierende Bibliothek von Kurzfilmen, von denen sich jeder in die jüdischen Erfahrungen der Vor- und Nachkriegszeit in Mittel- und Osteuropa vertieft.
