Description
In 2007 Irma Trksak, one of the last surviving resistance fighters against Nazi rule turned 90. The comprehensive biography of Irma Trksak was to portray the life of the Austrian with Slovenian origins who tirelessly fought against every form of injustice and is still active as one of the last surviving women from Ravensbrück concentration camp. A woman who, despite heavy blows of fate into her old age, is still fighting and interested in politics and who spread Austria’s image as a country with a active resistance movement against National Socialism around the world.

Irma Trksak, eine der letzten lebenden Widerstandskämpferinnen gegen die Nazi-Herrschaft, wird heuer 90 Jahre alt. Die umfassende Biografie über Irma Trksak soll das Leben einer slowakischstämmigen Österreicherin aufzeigen, die 2007 90 Jahre alt wird, und die als unermüdliche Kämpferin gegen Unrecht in jeder Form auftritt und die als eine der letzten überlebenden österreichischen Frauen aus dem Konzentrationslager Ravensbrück immer noch berufstätig ist. Eine Frau, die trotz Schicksalsschlägen bis in ihr hohes Alter kämpferisch und politisch interessiert ist, und die Österreichs Image als Land mit aktivem Widerstand gegen den Nationalsozialismus mit in die Welt getragen hat und immer noch trägt.
