The Viennese Hakoah Sport Club counts among Austria’s most successful sport clubs. In 1938, the grounds of the club were confiscated. The football and sport stadium in Krieau was leased by the City of Vienna to the SA Standard 90.To mark the reopening of the Hakoah Sports Center in March 2008 and the 100th anniversary of the Hakoah Sport Club in 2009, the documentary play “Hakoah in the lead” by Helmut Korherr was performed in memory of the sportsmen and women who died in the Holocaust.

Die Wiener HAKOAH zählte zu den erfolgreichsten Sportvereinen Österreichs. 1938 wurden die Vereinsstätten der Hakoah beschlagnahmt. Das Fußball- und Sportstadion in der Krieau von der Gemeinde Wien der SA-Standarte 90 in Pacht gegeben. Anlässlich der Neueröffnung des Hakoah-Sport-Zentrums im März 2008 sowie zum 100-jährigen Bestehen des S.C. Hakoah im Jahre 2009 soll das Dokumentationstheaterstücks 'Hakoah führt' von Helmut Korherr zum Gedenken an die durch den Holocaust umgekommenen Sportler aufgeführt werden.
