Description
The aim of the project is to create a European library platform for Holocaust education, which provides libraries with tools and methods to become educational disseminators of Holocaust education and remembrance. Existing structures of national, public and other library networks throughout Europe should be accessible. Partner organizations that have contributed their specialist knowledge are the Terraforming Network (Sweden – the Netherlands – Serbia); the European Foundation – EU Digital Platform for Cultural Heritage; the Anne Frank House Amsterdam; the Polin Museum for Polish Jewry in Warsaw; Yad Vashem, the Serbian National Library and the Holocaust Memorial in Skopje.

Ziel des Projekts ist eine Europäische Bibliotheksplattform für Holocaust-Bildung, die den Bibliotheken Werkzeug und Methoden zur Verfügung stellt, um pädagogischer Multiplikator der Holocausterziehung und des Gedenkens zu sein. Bereits vorhandene Infrastrukturen von nationalen, öffentlichen sowie anderen Bibliotheksnetzen in ganz Europa sollen genutzt werden können.
