The project involves a lecture by DDr. Elfriede Sturm and the publication of a brochure by Ms Alizia Ehrmann-Shek, “The Last Days in Theresienstadt”. The book was published in Hebrew by Beit Terezin and shall now be translated. Alizia Ehrmann-Shek was the wife of the Israeli ambassador to Austria and a survivor of Theresienstadt concentration camp. The diary was written secretly in German with the Hebrew lettering and survived the last days of terror together with Alizia. Alizia survived this terrible time; when the war was over she was 17 years old. She subsequently married her boyfriend, Shek, and became an illustrator and graphic designer. The book, which contains superb illustrations, has already been published in Prague.

Das Projekt beinhaltet eine Vorlesung von Frau DDr. Elfriede Sturm und die Auflage einer Broschüre von Frau Aliza Ehrmann-Shek „Die letzten Tage in Theresienstadt“. Erschienen auf hebräisch im Verlag Beit Terezin soll das Buch übersetzt werden. Alizia Ehrmann-Shek war die Frau des Israelischen Botschafters Shek in Österreich und eine Überlebende des Konzentrationslager Theresienstadt. Das Tagebuch wurde heimlich auf Deutsch mit hebräischer Schrift geschrieben und konnte mit Alizia die letzten Tage des Grauens überleben. Alizia überstand diese schreckliche Zeit, am Ende des Krieges war sie war 17 Jahre alt,heiratete in weiterer Folge ihren Freund Shek und wurde Buchillustratorin und Graphikerin. Das Buch, das ganz ausgezeichnete Illustrationen beinhaltet, wurde bereits in Prag veröffentlicht.
