Description

The concert pianist and award winner Mona Golabek celebrates the first German edition of her bestseller “The Pianist of Vienna”, with a signing tour and a performance for female students at the Vienna Musikverein, Exil Arte Institute, Maimonides enter and in Esra, in Gmunden/Schloss Traunsee, at the Literaturhaus Salzburg and at the Salzburg Board of Education. Book details from the true story of Mrs. Golabek's mother will be presented. As a Jewish refugee during World War II, Mrs. Golabek's mother had to leave Vienna on a kindertransport and subsequently spent the war years in London, where she inspired other young people in her work as a concert pianist.

Die Konzertpianistin und Awardgewinnerin Mona Golabek feiert die erste deutsche Herausgabe ihres Bestsellers „Die Pianistin von Wien, mit einer Signierstundentour und einem Auftritt für Studentinnen im Wiener Musikverein, Exil Arte Institut, Maimonides Zentrum und in Esra, in Gmunden/Schloss Traunsee, im Literaturhaus Salzburg und im Landesschulrat Salzburg. Es werden Buchdetails aus der wahren Geschichte von Frau Golabeks Mutter vorgestellt. Frau Golabeks Mutter musste als jüdischer Flüchtling im Zweiten Weltkrieg Wien mittels Kindertransport verlassen und in weiterer Folge die Kriegsjahre in London verbringen, wo sie in ihrer Tätigkeit als Konzertpianistin andere junge Menschen inspirierte.
