The "Yiddish Culture Festival Vienna" brings Jewish culture closer to the Viennese public and thus makes an important contribution to fostering understanding between peoples, cultures and religions. On 2 Decemer 2017 at the Radio Kulturhaus Erwin Steinhauer will read texts by Austrian authors who were forced into exile or murdered by the Nazi regime. This event is intended to explicitly remind us of the inestimable importance of Jewish culture in Vienna and Austria before the war. The reading will be accompanied by the Ensemble Varnitschkes from Lemberg.

Das „Yiddish Culture Festival Vienna“ bringt jüdische Kultur dem Wiener Publikum näher und leistet damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Verständigung zwischen Völkern, Kulturen und Religionen. Am 02.12.2017 wird im Radio Kulturhaus Erwin Steinhauer Texte von österreichischen Autoren lesen, die vom Nazi-Regime ins Exil getrieben beziehungsweise ermordet wurden. Explizit soll bei dieser Veranstaltung daran erinnert werden, welchen unschätzbaren Stellenwert die jüdische Kultur in Wien beziehungsweise Österreich vor dem Krieg hatte. Musikalisch umrahmt wird die Lesung vom Ensemble Varnitschkes aus Lemberg.
