On the occasion of the Year of Remembrance 2018, a general anniversary event is to take place. Stone repairs, a concert and a closing event for the Year of Remembrance 2018 are planned. The aim is to lay new stones of remembrance. In addition, the book "..lebte in der Josefstadt", which was prepared at the beginning of the association's activities, needs to be supplemented. Numerous new documents, photos and conversations with relatives have provided new research material, which in part relativizes that of established archives and research. For example, the last voluntary residences in Josefstadt were not identical to the residences documented in the archives.

Anlässlich des Gedenkjahrs 2018 soll eine Jubiläumsgeneralveranstaltung stattfinden. Steinreparaturen, ein Konzert und eine Abschlussveranstaltung zum Gedenkjahr 2018 sind geplant. Das Ziel dabei ist es, neue Steine der Erinnerung zu verlegen. Zudem benötigt das zum Beginn der Tätigkeit des Vereins erarbeitete Buch „..lebte in der Josefstadt” eine Ergänzung. Zahlreiche neue Dokumente, Fotos und Gespräche mit Angehörigen haben neues Forschungsmaterial geliefert, das zum Teil jenes etablierter Archive und Nachforschungen relativiert. So waren die letzten freiwilligen Wohnsitze in der Josefstadt mit den in den Archiven dokumentierten Wohnsitzen nicht ident.
