In his book of memories, 'Graparji', published by Drava in 2007, the author describes the Leppen-Graben in view of the economic and social circumstances, housekeeping methods, ways of life and historical events of the inter-war years. Then the “Anschluss” of Austria to the Third Reich in 1938 with the ban on using the Slovenian language, not only in public but also in private, and the threat to people’s existence. After the arrest of his mother and her deportation to Ravensbrück, he followed the path to the armed resistance movement.

In seinem 2007 bei Drava erschienenen Erinnerungsbuch 'Graparji' beschreibt der Autor den Leppen-Graben und stellt es im Lichte wirtschaftlicher und sozialer Verhältnisse, der Art und Weise der Haushaltung, der Lebensformen und historischen Ereignisse der Zwischenkriegszeit dar. Dann der Anschluss Österreichs an das Dritte Reich 1938 mit dem Verbot des Gebrauchs der slowenischen Sprache nicht nur in der Öffentlichkeit, sondern auch im privaten Bereich und die Gefährdung der Existenz. Sein Weg führte ihn als 14-Jährigen, nach der Verhaftung der Mutter und ihrer Deportation ins KZ Ravensbrück, in den bewaffneten Widerstand.
