On the occasion of the “70th anniversary of the Federation of Social Democratic Freedom Fighters, Victims of Fascism and active Antifascists” an extensive and broad representation in terms of content about the organizations’ history will appear in May 2019. The book consists of two parts: the history of the federal organization and the history of the single regional associations. A list of the former members of the federal board with the current structure of the committee is followed. The officers which constitute the backbone of the organization shall not fall into oblivion. In the second section of the book, each regional association is presented. Whether the focus will lie on historical or current topics will be left to the regional associations to decide. The book will end with an extract of its statute, the Mauthausen oath and the Mauthausen legacy.

Im Mai 2019 erscheint aus Anlass „70 Jahre Bund Sozialdemokratischer FreiheitskämpferInnen Opfer des Faschismus und aktiver AntifaschistInnen“ eine umfangreiche und inhaltlich breite Darstellung der Geschichte der Organisation. Das Buch wird aus zwei großen Teilen bestehen: der Geschichte der Bundesorganisation und der Geschichte der einzelnen Landesverbände. Es folgt eine Auflistung aller früheren Mitglieder des Bundesvorstands inklusive der aktuellen Zusammensetzung dieses Gremiums. Die Funktionäre und Funktionärinnen, die das Rückgrat der Organisation bildeten und nach wie vor bilden, sollen nicht in Vergessenheit geraten. Danach, im zweiten Teil des Buches, präsentiert sich jeder der acht Landesverbände. Ob dabei der Schwerpunkt auf Historischem oder Aktuellem liegt, bleibt den Landesverbänden überlassen. Ein Auszug aus dem Statut, der Mauthausen-Schwur und das Mauthausen-Vermächtnis bilden den Abschluss des Buches.
