Description
The Cultural Association of Austrian Roma celebrated its 10th anniversary in 08. The association’s greatest achievements include: recognition as the 6th Austrian ethnic group, a permanent exhibition in the documentation center, a modern archive (sponsored by the National Fund), the Roma Fund for assistance in education, training and further education of school children, youths and adults and much more. A photo and documentation exhibition was planned for the anniversary celebrations at the Roma Documentation Center, as well as the production of an anniversary brochure and a video etc.

Der Kulturverein österreichische Roma feiert im nächsten Jahr das 10-jährige Vereinsjubiläum. Zu den großen Erfolgen des Vereins zählen: die Anerkennung als 6. österreichische Volksgruppe, eine ständige Ausstellung im Dokumentationszentrum, ein modernes Archiv (durch den Nationalfonds gefördert), Roma Fonds zur Unterstützung bei Bildung, Ausbildung und Fortbildung von Schülern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen und vieles mehr. Für die Jubiläumsfeier wird eine Foto- und Dokumentenausstellung in den Räumen der Roma-Doku, die Erstellung einer Jubiläumsbroschüre sowie ein Video usw. geplant.
