With the publication “Places of National Socialist Terror in Klagenfurt”, the importance of local places of remembrance was to be anchored in the minds of the residents. The manuscript, which already existed, was to be further honed and the historical events to be researched in more detail, individual chapters made more detailed and further central subjects supplemented. The book was to contain historical information and eyewitness accounts as well as further literature. A map of Klagenfurt showing places of historical importance provides an overview of National Socialist rule in the city.

Mit der Publikation 'Orte des nationalsozialistischen Terrors in Klagenfurt' soll die Bedeutung von lokalen Gedächtnisorten in den Köpfen der BürgerInnen verankert werden. Das bereits vorhandene Manuskript soll weiter ausgearbeitet werden und historische Ereignisse vertieft recherchiert, einzelne Kapitel detaillierter ausgearbeitet und weitere zentrale Themenbereiche ergänzt werden. Die Buchpublikation sollte historische Informationen und ZeitzeugInnenberichte enthalten, aber auch Hinweise auf weiterführende Literatur. Ein inkludierter Stadtplan von Klagenfurt mit den eingezeichneten historisch bedeutsamen Orten wird die Möglichkeit bieten, sich einen Überblick über die nationalsozialistische Herrschaft in der Stadt zu verschaffen.
