Description
The film accompanies the Innsbruck teenager Enzo (13) on a trip to Israel, where he will meet the contemporary witness Abraham Gafni. In Israel he gets to know Abraham Gafni, a 90-year-old Jew from Tyrol, and the true meaning of life. On this journey Enzo will learn in a conversation with Abraham Gafni how he had to flee from the Nazis in 1938 as a ten-year-old boy from Innsbruck to Palestine. How escape and reconstruction in a foreign country influenced Abraham.

Der Film begleitet den Innsbrucker Teenager Enzo (13) auf eine Reise nach Israel, wo er den Zeitzeugen Abraham Gafni kennenlernen wird. In Israel lernt er den aus Tirol stammenden, 90-jährigen Juden Abraham Gafni und die wahre Bedeutung des Lebens kennen. Auf dieser Reise erfährt Enzo in einem Gespräch mit Abraham Gafni, wie dieser 1938 als zehnjähriger Bub vor den Nazis aus Innsbruck nach Palästina flüchten musste. Wie Flucht und Aufbau in der Fremde Abraham beeinflussten.
