Description
"Campfilm Kft." has been working on the film "The Euphoria of Being" under the working title "Crying will get you nowhere" since 2015. The project started with the choreographer Reka Szabo inviting the 90-year-old Holocaust survivor Eva Fahidi to tell her life through a dance-theatre piece, to dance and perform herself. This dance theatre piece was performed a total of 60 times. From the very beginning, this process was recorded on film. A total of 36 days of shooting took place. In 2017 the dance theatre play should have been presented in the Austrian Folk Theatre with Eva Fahidi. Due to Eva Fahidi's illness, the accompanying artistic, not yet completed documentary film was shown as a substitute program. This film received positive criticism from the audience and the press, so that now in 2019 the completion of the film is being worked on.

„Campfilm Kft.“ hat seit dem Jahr 2015 an dem Film „The Euphoria of Being“ unter dem Arbeitstitel „Crying will get you nowhere“ gearbeitet. Das Projekt hat damit begonnen, dass der Choreograph Reka Szabo die 90-jährige Holocaustüberlebende Eva Fahidi eingeladen hat, ihr Leben mittels eines Tanztheaterstücks selbst zu erzählen, selbst zu tanzen und zu spielen. So wurde dieses Tanztheaterstück insgesamt 60 Mal aufgeführt. Von Anbeginn wurde dieser Prozess filmisch festgehalten. Insgesamt fanden 36 Drehtage statt. Im Jahr 2017 hätte das Tanztheaterstück im Österreichischen Volkstheater mit Eva Fahidi präsentiert werden sollen. Aufgrund der Erkrankung Eva Fahidis wurde als Ersatzprogramm unter anderem der begleitende künstlerische, noch nicht fertiggestellte Dokumentarfilm gezeigt. Dieser Film erhielt vom Publikum und von der Presse positive Kritik, sodass nun im Jahr 2019 an der Fertigstellung des Films gearbeitet wird.
