Description
To mark the 70th anniversary of the pogrom during the Night of Broken Glass and the 60th anniversary of the foundation of Israel, Shmuel Barzilai produced a CD with Jewish (classic cantoral and popular) music with the theme 'Meafela Leora' – from darkness to light. The music was arranged for orchestra and choir especially for this recording by the composer and conductor Dr. Mordechai Sobol from Israel. Cantor Shmuel Barzilai is accompanied by the T.F.Y. Philharmonic Orchestra and the Juwal Cantors’ Choir.

Anlässlich des 70. Jubiläums des Pogroms während der Reichskristallnacht und des 60. Jubiläums der Gründung Israels produziert Shmuel Barzilai eine CD mit jüdischer - sowohl klassisch kantoraler als auch populärer - Musik mit dem Thema 'Meafela Leora' - 'von Dunkelheit zu Licht'. Das Arrangement für das Orchester und den Chor wird extra für diese Aufnahme vom Dirigenten und Komponisten Dr. Mordechai Sobol aus Israel geschrieben, begleitet wird Kantor Shmuel Barzilai von dem T.F.Y. Philharmonic Orchestra und dem 'Juwal' Cantors Chor.
