None of the works of Hermann Langbein are available. Therefore the book “The Stronger Ones – a Report from Auschwitz and Other Concentration Camps was to be reprinted, once again making it accessible. In “The Stronger Ones”, Hermann Langbein (1912–1995) describes the imprisonment of members of the International Brigade in France in St. Cyprien, Gurs and le Vernet then the “combat group Auschwitz” in which he played an important role as one of ist leaders. In a foreword, Langbein describes his path from faithful communist to his dissociation from communism.

Keines der Werke von Hermann Langbein ist lieferbar. Daher soll das Buch 'Die Stärkeren - Ein Bericht aus Auschwitz und anderen Konzentrationslagern' von Hermann Langbein durch eine Neuauflage wieder zugänglich gemacht werden. Hermann Langbein (1912–1995) schildert in 'Die Stärkeren' die Internierungen der Internationalen Brigaden in Frankreich in St. Cyprien, Gurs und le Vernet; dann die 'Kampfgruppe Auschwitz', in deren Leitung er eine wichtige Rolle spielte. In einem Begleitwort schildert Langbein seinen Weg vom 'gläubigen Kommunisten' zu seiner Distanzierung davon.
