Description
In 2012 to 2013 the Holocaust History Project was designed, piloted and successfully implemented with the dedicated participation of 441 students. The feedback was consistently positive. From 2014 to 2015, project phase 2 was successfully completed with the participation of 466 students. Demand continues to exist or has increased. In project phases 3 and 4, 643 students participated in the project, in project phase 5 (commemoration year 2018) 663 students participated. The evaluations are still very positive. The total number of participants since 2012 is 2,307. A continuation of the project beyond the commemoration year would be sensible and desirable in order to make the topic more comprehensible for young people.

2012 bis 2013 wurde The Holocaust History Project entworfen, pilotiert und unter engagierter Teilnahme von 441 SchülerInnen erfolgreich durchgeführt. Das Feedback war durchwegs positiv. 2014 bis 2015 erfolgte die erfolgreiche Durchführung von Projektphase 2 unter Teilnahme von 466 SchülerInnen. Die Nachfrage ist weiterhin gegeben beziehungsweise gestiegen. In der Projektphase 3 und 4 nahmen 643 SchülerInnen am Projekt teil, in der Projektphase 5 (Gedenkjahr 2018) waren es 663 TeilnehmerInnen. Die Evaluierungen sind nach wie vor sehr positiv. Daraus ergibt sich seit dem Jahr 2012 eine GesamtteilnehmerInnenanzahl von 2.307. Eine Projektfortsetzung über das Gedenkjahr hinaus wäre sinnvoll und wünschenswert, um die Thematik weiter für Jugendliche begreifbar zu machen.
