Schönbrunn was the first venue for the exhibition of "Musica Femina - Woman made Music" in the summer of 2018, the first major scientifically based thematic exhibition on women's music-making in music history. The exhibition has now been further developed and can be seen from 26 June to 4 September 2019 in the Bildraum Bodensee. For the first time, it will now specifically address school classes of every type of school and requires detailed teaching and learning materials. There are plans to produce a digital textbook on Nazi ostracization and exile music. Five life stories of female composers will be recorded. The Nazi ostracization and female musical life will be presented in digital form.

Schönbrunn war der erste Ausstellungsort von „Musica Femina – Woman made Music“ im Sommer 2018. Es war die erste große wissenschaftlich fundierte Themenausstellung um das Musikschaffen von Frauen in der Musikgeschichte. Die Ausstellung wurde nun weiterentwickelt und von 26. Juni bis 04. September 2019 im Bildraum Bodensee zu sehen sein. Sie wird nun erstmals gezielt Schulklassen jeden Schultyps ansprechen und verlangt nach einem detaillierten Lehr- und Lernmaterial. Es ist die Erstellung eines digitalen Schulbuchs zur NS-Verfemung und dem Musikexil geplant. Es werden fünf Lebensgeschichten von Komponistinnen erfasst. Die NS-Verfemung und das weibliche Musikleben werden in digitaler Form präsentiert.
