The book project consists of a precisely commented and annotated excerpt from the diaries of the journalist and publisher Emanuel Fiscus (1900–1984) from the years 1916 to 1921 and a detailed biographical introduction on the fate of the author in the Nazi era and the way it was dealt with through journalism after 1945.

Das Buchprojekt besteht aus einem genau kommentierten und annotierten Auszug aus den Tagebüchern des Journalisten und Verlegers Emanuel Fiscus (1900 - 1984) aus den Jahren 1916 bis 1921 sowie einer ausführlichen biographischen Einleitung über das Schicksal des Autors in der NS-Zeit und deren publizistische Verarbeitung nach 1945.
