Throughout 2008, the OHO carried out six projects in remembrance of exiled people. The result of the direct survey of the population of Oberwart was of certain relevance for the focus of the project zone38 as a whole. With the assistance of the Mayor, the OHO went in search of interviews (project 1). The sidewalk initiative (project 3), the exhibition (project 4), subsequent project “Sweeping in the park” (project 5 and the play (project 6) were based on the outcome of this survey and of other research in archives and libraries. A memorial will also be erected (project 2).

Das OHO wird sechs Projekte über das gesamte Jahr 2008 durchführen und der vertriebenen Menschen gedenken. Von einer gewissen Relevanz für die Ausrichtung des Gesamtprojektes Zone38 kann das Ergebnis der direkten Befragung der Oberwarter Bevölkerung werden. Das OHO begibt sich mit Hilfe des Bürgermeisters auf Interviewsuche (Projekt 1). Nach den Ergebnissen dieser Befragung aber auch nach sonstigen Recherchen in Archiven und Bibliotheken richten sich die Gehsteigaktion (Projekt 3), die Ausstellung (Projekt 4), Folgeprojekt 'Vom Kehren im Park' (Projekt 5) und das Theaterstück (Projekt 6). Ebenfalls wird ein Denkmal errichtet (Projekt 2)
