Gruppenfahrt zur Befreiungsfeier des ehem. KZ Ravensbrück Buchpräsentationen - Lebendiges Gedächtnis. Die Geschichte der Österreichischen Lagergemeinschaft Ravensbrück: Ich weiß, was ich wert bin

 

Every year, a delegation from the Austrian Camp Community Ravensbrück and Friends, including 5 surviving women and other relatives, travels to the Liberation Events of the Ravensbrück Memorial. Within the scope of the liberation event, the Austrian Camp Community Ravensbrück and Friends organized a presentation of the book, published by Mandelbaum Publishers in March 2008, “Living Memory. The History of the Austrian Camp Community Ravensbrück” by Helga Amesberger and Kerstin Lercher. The book presentation took the form of a round table discussion on the subject “The necessity of camp communities for historical and memorial policies”. Moreover, the publication “I know what I’m worth”, on the Viennese Czech minority and the life of Irma Trksak was presented in the form of a reading by the Author Cécile Cordon.

Alljährlich fährt eine Delegation der ÖLGRF, darunter auch 5 überlebende Frauen und weitere Angehörige zu den Befreiungsfeiern der Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück. Die ÖLGRF organisiert im Rahmen der Befreiungsfeier auch die Präsentation des im März 2008 im Mandelbaum-Verlag erscheinenden Buches 'Lebendiges Gedächtnis. Die Geschichte der Österreichischen Lagergemeinschaft Ravensbrück' von Helga Amesberger und Kerstin Lercher. Die Buchpräsentation wird in Form einer Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema 'Notwendigkeit von Lagergemeinschaften für Geschichts- und Gedenkstättenpolitik' stattfinden.Des weiteren wird die Publikation 'Ich weiß, was ich wert bin' über die Wiener Tschechische Minderheit und das Leben von Irma Trksak in Form einer Lesung von der Autorin Cécile Cordon vorgestellt.
