Ten years ago, the video archive Ravensbrück, in cooperation with the social scientists Dr. Brigitte Halbmayr and Dr. Helga Amesberger, within the scope of the study “Living and surviving – paths to Ravensbrück. Memories of the Women’s Concentration Camp”, collected over 200 hours of eyewitness testimonies. Part of this extensive material was now to be rendered accessible in a version understandable to interested young people and grown ups. An edition of ten video portraits is planned.

Vor 10 Jahren wurden vom Video-Archiv Ravensbrück in Zusammenarbeit mit den Sozialwissenschafterinnen Dr.in Brigitte Halbmayr und Dr.in Helga Amesberger im Rahmen der Studie 'Vom Leben und Überleben - Wege nach Ravensbrück. Das Frauenkonzentrationslager in der Erinnerung' über 200 Stunden Zeitzeuginnenschaft gesammelt. Ein Teil dieses umfangreichen Materials soll nun in einer verständlichen Version interessierten Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen zugänglich gemacht werden. Geplant ist eine Edition von zehn Videoportraits.
