The March of Remembrance and Hope Association aimed to offer Austrian school children the opportunity to participate in an international Holocaust remembrance ceremony in Auschwitz-Birkenau, to remember the victims of National Socialism. The association was organizing the Austrian contribution to an international remembrance ceremony with thousands of young people, the highlight of which was to be a march of silence in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Der Verein 'March of Remembrance and Hope' hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, österreichischen Schülern die Möglichkeit zu bieten, an einer internationalen Holocaust-Gedenkveranstaltung in Auschwitz-Birkenau teilzunehmen, um den Opfern des Nationalsozialismus zu gedenken. Sie sprechen speziell Schulen an, die diese Reise als einen integralen Teil in ihre Jahresplanung aufnehmen. Der Verein veranstaltet den österreichischen Beitrag zu einer internationalen Gedenkveranstaltung mit tausenden Jugendlichen, dessen Höhepunkt der Schweigemarsch in Auschwitz-Birkenau ist.
