A documentation project, the main aim of which was to record monuments and signs of remembrance, of resistance, persecution, exile and liberation. Several studies have been carried out in this field, however mostly in relation to Vienna. All types of memorial were recorded, such as memorials and memorial sites, rooms of remembrance, stones of remembrance, memorial plaques, chapels, funerary monuments, synagogues, museums, namings of housing estates, streets and squares etc.

Ein Dokumentationsprojekt, dessen Hauptziel die Erfassung von Erinnerungszeichen zu Widerstand, Verfolgung, Exil und Befreiung ist. Es sind auf diesem Gebiet bereits mehrere Arbeiten durchgeführt worden, diese beziehen sich aber zur Hauptsache auf Wien. Erfasst werden sollen jegliche Arten von Erinnerungszeichen, wie Mahnmale, Gedenkstätten, Denkmäler, Gedenkräume, Gedenksteine, Gedenktafeln, Kapellen, Grabdenkmale, Synagogen, Museen, Benennungen von Wohnhausanlagen und Verkehrsflächen etc.
