Publication of a research report on the life and work of the press artist, caricaturist, cartoonist and comic book illustrator Erich Gold, artist name Erich Goltz, change of name in Emigration New York to Eric Peters. Goltz drew numerous anti-Nazi caricatures in Berlin and Vienna. At the first place of escape, Zurich, he drew the ensemble of the Schauspielhaus, in which many refugees were engaged. In New York he created cartoons for famous magazines and comic books with his short-term wife Lily René. After 1950 he hardly received any commissions, meaning he became impoverished in the further course of his life.

Drucklegung eines Ende Dezember 2018 angeschlossenen Forschungsberichts zu Leben und Werk des Pressezeichners, Karikaturisten, Cartoonisten und Comic-Book-Zeichners Erich Gold, Künstlernamen Erich Goltz, Namenswechsel in der Emigration N.Y. auf Eric Peters. Goltz zeichnete in Berlin sowie in Wien zahlreiche Anti-Nazi-Karikaturen. Am ersten Fluchtort Zürich zeichnete er das Ensemble des Schauspielhauses, in dem viele Flüchtlinge ein Engagement fanden. In N.Y. schuf er Cartoons für berühmte Magazine sowie Comic Books mit seiner Kurzzeit Gattin Lily René. Ab 1950 erhielt er kaum noch Aufträge, aufgrund dessen er im weiteren Verlauf seines Lebens verarmte.
