Description
Bronislaw Huberman was a virtuoso violinist, one of the greatest musicians of the last century and one of the first advocates of a united Europe and active supporters of the Pan-European movement. Huberman became an honorary member of the Vienna Philharmonic in 1932 and taught at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna from 1934. In 1934 he also began to organize the Philharmonic Orchestra in Palestine from Vienna. The biography, written in Polish by Piotr Szalsza, traces the career of Bronislaw Huberman from his child prodigy beginnings to the position of a world-class artist and his premature death. This biography will now be translated into German by a translation team and published by Hollitzer Verlag.
