Description

This project is an interdisciplinary project on youth work, political and cultural education and artistic research. In the spirit of international understanding, young people from four different countries (Austria, Italy, Germany and Croatia) will search for works of art from the fascist era at their locations, which bear witness to the resistance against the terror regime and the freedom of humankind. The participants will meet on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II in the history room Melk, Lower Austria. At the authentic location they exchange views on what they have found and the values of today's Europe based on it. In co-creative processes and building on this, the young people can create a joint work of art together with artists and become ambassadors of modern European values. The presentation will take place at the peace festival in Erlauf and in their home countries.
