Description

In May 2013, the Austrian Cultural Days were held in Tel Aviv for the first time. Three concerts are also planned for 2019, two of which will take place in Tel Aviv and one in Jerusalem. On 1 November 2019 in Tel Aviv: "A colourful bouquet of songs from Austria", on 2 November 2019 in Tel Aviv: "In the Prater the trees are in bloom again", an evening to hum and sway along. On 3 November 2019 in Jerusalem: "Az der Rebbe singt", Yiddish and Hebrew from the shtetl and from the big city - a homage to Shlomo Carlebach, whose father was Chief Rabbi in Baden near Vienna before the war and had to flee after the "Anschluss".

Im Mai 2013 fanden zum ersten Mal die Österreichischen Kulturtage in Tel Aviv statt, auch im Jahr 2019 sind drei Konzerte geplant, zwei davon werden in Tel Aviv stattfinden und eines in Jerusalem. Am 01. November 2019 in Tel Aviv: „Ein bunter Liederstrauß aus Österreich“, am 2. November 2019 in Tel Aviv: „Im Prater blüh‘n wieder die Bäume“, ein Abend zum Mitsummen und Mitschunkeln. Am 3. November 2019 in Jerusalem: „Az der Rebbe singt“, Jiddisches und Hebräisches aus dem Schtetl und aus der Großstadt – eine Hommage an Shlomo Carlebach, dessen Vater vor dem Krieg Oberrabbiner in Baden bei Wien war und nach dem „Anschluss“ fliehen musste.
