KÖR and WASt were commissioned by the City of Vienna to create a permanent monument. This includes the tendering and implementation of an invite-only international competition for its realization as well as the production and technical realization of the winning design for the monument. Resselpark was chosen as the location for the permanent memorial for the victims of homosexual persecution.

Das KÖR und WASt wurden seitens der Stadt Wien mit der Umsetzung eines permanenten Denkmals beauftragt. Dies beinhaltet die Ausschreibung und Durchführung eines geladenen, internationalen Realisierungswettbewerbes sowie die Produktion und technische Umsetzung des Siegerentwurfs für das Denkmal. Als Standort für das permanente Denkmal für die Opfer der Homosexuellenverfolgung wurde der Resselpark gewählt.
